MPAT Comm. V., operating under the brand Scale Up Partners (“we”, “us”), is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website. This policy explains which data we handle, why, on what basis, for how long, and the rights you have under the GDPR.
1. Who we are
Scale Up Partners is the brand of MPAT Comm. V. · Antwerp, Belgium · VAT BE 0668.420.664. For any privacy question or request, contact us at hello@scaleuppartners.be or +32 476 66 56 06.
2. Which data we handle
This website is deliberately light: we collect as little as possible.
- What you send us. Through the contact form: your name, email address and message, plus your phone number and company name if you choose to fill them in.
- Abuse protection. To stop spam, we store a hashed version of your IP address — not the address itself — together with the time of the most recent form submission from your connection. No name or message content is linked to it.
- Unsent submissions. If a submission fails, what you typed is held in temporary storage for at most two minutes so the form can be restored, then deleted automatically.
- One functional cookie that remembers your language. It contains no identifier and no personal data.
- Aggregate usage statistics. First-party, cookie-less counts of how often pages and buttons are used. No cookies, no personal profiles, no tracking across websites.
- Server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider keeps short-lived access logs for security and troubleshooting.
3. Why, and on what legal basis
- Answering your enquiry and preparing a possible collaboration: steps taken at your request before possibly entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Protecting the website against spam and abuse and keeping it secure and available: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Remembering your language and measuring aggregate use of our own content: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We use your details for nothing else: no newsletters you did not ask for, no advertising, no profiling.
4. How long we keep it
- Enquiries: as long as needed to handle your request and any collaboration that follows, after which we delete them.
- Abuse protection: we keep no history — only the time of the most recent submission per connection is stored. This record stays in the site’s database until a later submission from the same connection replaces it; it is not deleted automatically.
- Unsent submissions: two minutes at most, automatically.
- Language cookie: up to one year.
- Usage statistics: aggregate, cookie-less counts of how pages and buttons are used are kept for at most 35 days. Counter volumes are capped and the counts contain no personal data.
- Server logs: a limited period, in line with the standard retention of our hosting provider.
5. Who receives your data
We never sell your data and we run no advertising trackers or data brokers. Your form message is emailed to us through the email-delivery provider configured for this site; our hosting provider processes it as it operates our servers. Fonts, scripts and statistics are served entirely from our own environment: loading this site sends no font, script or analytics requests to third parties. If you use our online booking option, the booking calendar is operated by SimplyBook.me: the data you enter there (such as your name, email address and phone number) is processed under SimplyBook’s own privacy policy. Beyond this, we share data only where the law requires it.
6. Cookies and browser storage
This site uses no tracking, advertising or social-media cookies. The only cookie we set is the functional language cookie described above, and apart from it we store nothing in your browser: no local storage, no session storage, no fingerprinting. Our usage statistics work without cookies. When you open the online booking calendar, SimplyBook.me may set its own cookies to run that service; from that moment their policy applies.
7. Your rights
You can ask to see your data and to have it corrected or erased. You can also ask us to restrict processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, request a portable copy, and withdraw any consent you have given. Send your request to hello@scaleuppartners.be and we will reply within one month. If you believe your data is not handled correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels — contact@apd-gba.be.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the way we work changes. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
